It's a Bike that never feels out of its depth and gives the rider confidence to deal with whatever challenge is thrown their way. If you could have just one motorBike, a supermoto would be it, and as supermotos go, the FXS is very special. The S in FXS denotes 'Street' because it's the street version of the FX dual-sport. The key differences are slightly smaller wheels and less knobbly tyres, yet it's still a capable and very quiet performer off road, whilst taking the rough with the smooth on the city streets, including the curbs and potholes. Showa provides the fully adjustable, front and rear suspension with inverted 41 mm front forks providing 7" of travel and a 40mm piston, piggy-back reservoir shock at the rear providing 8.94" of travel. Brakes are courtesy of Bosch 9th Gen ABS mated to J-Juan calipers which grip a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm disc at the rear. Weighing in at 300 lb (135 kg), with a top speed of 85 mph, 78 ft lb of torque from the very first RPM and acceleration that destroys everything in the 11kW class, the FXS is a true ace in the pack that will make you look forward to every journey. Although the The FXS is offered in both an 11 kW and standard version, both make the same peak power of 33 kW (44 hp), with the standard version offering 36% greater continuous power at 15 kW.
